Kristen Stewart has apparently confirmed that she and Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson are an item after years of are-they-aren't-they speculation.

The duo have dodged questions about their off-screen relationship – until the Twilight actress was caught off guard during a photoshoot for British GQ magazine.

Kristen, 21, was asked if she was planning to explore more of the UK while filming upcoming flick Snow White and The Huntsman.

She replied: "(Yes), because my boyfriend is English."

The next day, when Kristen was asked to expand on her comment, she said: "I never would have said that if I knew you were interviewing me."

After it was pointed out that many fans already believe she and Pattinson, 25, were an item, Kristen said: "So much of my life is so easily googled. I mean, it's like, come on guys, it's so obvious!"

The cat might be out of the bag, but the star realises some Twilight fans will still be skeptical about the relationship.

"I don't think you realize what a big deal it is for people. Well, it is a big deal. They would be 'Oh. My. God.' There would also be still a 50/50 split. Some people would still be, 'See, told you they're not together.'"
